Not much sewing going on today, although football has nothing to do with it.
My guild, Log Lap Quilters, hosts a Block of the Month. Members receive instructions and can see a sample at each meeting. Each member makes two blocks. One is brought to the next meeting where someone wins all the blocks. The second you keep for yourself. At the end of the year, the guild hopes you will make a charity quilt with the 12 blocks you made throughout the year.
This is my block due at the February meeting. It just happened that I had charm squares in the designated color scheme.
I also made progress on the Kid’s Quilted Play Mat. The center nine blocks are done and sewn together. The pattern calls this Block A.
While working on these blocks, I also stitched leaders and enders for another Mosaic Quilt.
Here’s hoping you are a Denver Broncos fan.
