The Generosity of Quilters

The North Springs Home & Garden Club collects toiletries and other wish list items for the Women’s Shelter.  It is a project we have contributed to for many years.

My trunk was filling up with boxes and bags so it was time for a drop off.

In January, two quilts were turned in at the Logan Quilt Guild meeting for the Ronald McDonald House.  Since I would be in the neighborhood, I could drop those off too.

There was excitement and much appreciation for the donations taken to both organizations.

The Logan Quilt Guild February meeting was yesterday.  Besides a great program, I received 18 quilts for the Ronald McDonald House.  Eighteen!  And even small quilts for doll beds.  Several need labels and washing with Orvis soap – and I’ve already started on the task.

The generosity of this group of women goes beyond what was turned in for Ronnie Mac, another 11 are going to the NICU.  A total of 29 quilts for charity.  I am so proud to represent Logan Lap Quilters and deliver these to the Ronnie Mac House.

Do you have a favorite charity that you enjoy quilting for?
