While working on the Stars of Valor top, I needed a leader and ender project. I wanted something simple, with straight lines to stitch in between the half-square triangles and rows of the Stars of Valor. BQ 2 by Maple Island Quilts fit right into place for this project. With only enough large floral fabric to make nine blocks, this charity quilt will certainly brighten someone’s day. The pattern does not have borders and I’m debating on whether or not to add them. What would you do?
