Greetings From Shelby, NC!

I might be in the “North” but it’s a warm 47 degrees this evening.  Maybe 47 feels so warm because of the warm welcome to the Foothills Quilt Guild meeting and warm welcome by Eleanor Morgan who offered home hospitality.

What a wonderful group of women and gentleman.  This small guild sews and donates an overwhelming amount of pillowcases and quilts for local charity groups.  Their generosity extended to the kennel quilt and luopad projects.  I’m returning home with donations for both.

I’ll be back with them in the morning for Stash Busting String Quilts.  Until tomorrow, enjoy a few photos from the Show and Tell.

The heart quilt are log cabin blocks, wouldn’t this make a great Valentine’s Day quilt?

Check out this watermelon fabric tool holder.  Made with an embroidery hoop.  What a clever idea.
